At Wight Aero & Machine Works, I specialize in U.S. sales of Simonini paramotor engines, parts, and expert support for pilots and builders across the country. Backed by years of precision manufacturing experience and hands-on knowledge from working full-time at Aviator Paramotor—one of the world’s largest paramotor schools—I’m uniquely positioned to serve the paramotor community with real-world expertise. I am excited to grow the manufacturing side of the company by offering the community high quality, domestically made products that have been needed for a long time such as engine adapters that are readily available in many configurations and are not just plate that has been hand drilled and jig sawed!

Why Simonini Engines? In late 2024 I found myself bored and wanting to see what else was out there. I have always been a bit of a non-conformist wanting to do the opposite of everyone else. I also highly value history and small businesses. During research for something unrelated I stumbled accross a picture of a Simonini dirt bike from the early 70’s that had been entered in a vintage motocross race over in Europe. This lit a spark in me to see that Simonini had actually made some pretty cool dirt bikes early on! Simonini goes back decades in the paramotor industry with a reputation for being bulletproof engines. If theres one thing paramotor pilots crave more than anything its reliability! In the past 10 years Simonini has been fairly quiet in the community. Though the SIM250 and 140 were released in 2018 there hasn’t been much talk about them. I decided to take a chance and bought a SIM140 to try out and immediatly fell in love with its awesome sound and tractor like bottom end grunt. From there I decided a SIM250 needed to be in my quiver and I was blown away with the balance of power and ease of use! I became a Simonini fan day one and I’m so excited to offer engines and parts to the community and excited to turn others into Simonini fans too!
