This service is a comprehensive inspection and refresh of the engine. Similar to the 100 hour maintenance but much more in depth. The top end and rotating assemblies(crankshaft) are disassembled and inspected thoroughly using precision instruments.

Sending your paramotor engine in for repair shouldn’t be a hassle. That’s why I offer two simple options:
1. Pack-It-Yourself Kit – You get everything you need shipped to your door: a custom packing kit with the right box, padding, and instructions. You choose your shipping carrier and pay for the label—no need to buy bulk materials or guess what you need.
2. Full-Service Shipping – I handle everything. You get the same packing kit, plus a prepaid return label and scheduled pickup (if available). Just pack your engine, slap on the label, and send it off—no stress, no extra steps.
$50 assesment/ $100 Troubleshooting
Every engine that comes to me for service will be checked on the test stand as a baseline assement of the overall health of the engine. Documentation of the thrust output will be provided to the customer. If troubleshooting is requested/required an additional fee if $50 will be charged.

Engine top end will be cleaned of carbon and measured for condition
Maintenance to be performed in accordance with the manufacturers maintenance schedule, in addition to any normal wear items.
Each maintenance point listed above is a visual inspection or replacement of the item in accordance with the maintenance schedule and based on the technicians assessment
This price includes, the Basic Diagnostic and covers all labor of a standard 100 hour maintenance service of a common air-cooled engine such as Moster 185. Parts NOT included
You as the customer reserve the right to refuse ANY additional services not discussed between you the customer and myself as Wight Aero & Machine Works. Paramount to anything is building trust between Wight Aero & Machine Works and my customers. I want to make sure that your equipment is in safe and top working order and I will contact you IF I find something outside the scope of work we initially agreed upon and it will be completely your decision if you want me to perform the additional service or not.
I do not accept work with “customer supplied parts”. I know it makes no sense why I wouldn’t but trust me. Its a mess, every. single. time.
If you want to come in person and watch me work on your paramotor so you can “learn” my rate will be $220/hr
