Simonini SIM250 Paramotor Engine
A 90-degree “twist” on the prolific MINI 2 EVO the Simonini SIM250 engine exemplifies reliability and performance. With its remarkably linear power curve, it’s a favorite among experienced veteran paramotor pilots looking for a highly versatile do-it-all engine while at the same time manageable enough for novice big bodied pilots or trike pilots. Set aside all of that smooth and linear talk for now, the SIM250 has some serious POWER! Rated at 33hp it has plenty of power on tap and is sure to weld a smile on the face of anyone willing to give it a fist full of throttle. A key feature that makes this engine truly stand out from the others is the offset engine mass. This feature translates to a shockingly low torque-twist characteristic throughout the whole RPM range unlike nearly all other engines in this power class. If that’s not enough to make you consider switching to a SIM250, how about a mounting pattern that fits a large majority of existing paramotor chassis? Air cooled simplicity and Walbro familiarity make the SIM250 a breeze to install on an existing chassis, and a piece of cake maintain, service and tune. The SIM250 is truly an affordable workhorse of the paramotor industry
